Personal Goal:
After taking a long break from formal training in martial arts, I realized that the knowledge, technique and training had changed. What I came to realize is that in martial arts and life in general there is no standing still, one either moves ahead or falls behind. It will be Tae Kwon Do until death and beyond.

How Master Mun and Taekwondo Has Helped Me

Taekwondo has helped me to continue to maintain a high degree of honor for the traditions & pride in my accomplishments and respect for others. I try to make an effort for these values to carry over into all areas of my daily life. Taekwondo has taught me that fear is an emotion that must be overcome in order to be successful. Things don't always go as expected. There are times in life where a person is put into a situation in which an immediate decision must be made-one which could be harmful or fatal if not handled properly. In these situations fear must be challenged and conquered in order to have a successful outcome. Later on, the challenge may be found to not have been as monumental as previously surmised, or an accomplishment was made that a person thought that they were incapable of. Fear therefore must be recognized, and respected, but not succumbed to. Tae Kwon Do has helped me to become more patient, more confident, and more able to adapt to changes.
